I recently spent a good four-day break at Le Moulin De Saussaye and found the experience to be a solid balance of luxury and value. Nestled in a picturesque setting, the campsite offers clean facilities and a peaceful atmosphere, undisturbed apart from the occasional road noise. The organic farm adds a wholesome touch, with fresh eggs from happy chickens and friendly Irish cows milling about. Though the evening meals were no longer served—which was a bit disappointing—guests can utilize the outdoor dining area and picnic tables for self-catering, and if you fancy a relaxing stay, you can book one of their mobile homes. Bruno and Beatrice are approachable and help maintain the inviting ambience. With charges being modest, it’s clear this is a great budget-friendly option for those seeking a break without breaking the bank. The wild swimming pool project may be in the works, but for now, it remains a laid-back retreat perfect for unwinding after a long road trip.
